CHIREDZI - Newly promoted Chiredzi FC suffered their fourth straight defeat in the Castle Premiership going down 2-1 to How Mine at Chishamiso Stadium on Wednesday.
Chiredzi only picked up one point in their opening match of the season in the 1-1 draw with FC Platinum before going on to lose all their matches so far.
The home side was undone by a Kuda Musharu brace as the Bulawayo gold miners picked up their second win of the season.
Musharu opened the scoring in the a minute before halftime and completed his brace a minute into added time of the first half.
Those goals were enough for the How Mine to win the match as a late Norman Maroto consolation goal eight minutes from time came too late for the home side.
Philani Ncube, the How Mine coach, was delighted with the three points.
‘’It is good to collect points away from home. We are treating each game as it comes. I think Chiredzi FC had a good game in the second half,” he said.
Chiredzi FC coach Moses Chunga said: ‘’We are dominating possession in most of our matches but we are not scoring. We are also conceding silly goals. The second goal we conceded today was just pathetic.”
