HARARE - Urban grooves sensation Enoch “Nox” Guni’s 2012 hit song, Ndinonyara, has been used in a children’s game, similar to Amhina.
There is even a video circulating on social networks of the game.
Speaking to the Daily News, Nox said he was pleasantly surprised when he heard the news and watched the video.
“I never thought that song was going to have such a huge impact on the nation,” he said.
“When I saw the video, I felt proud. The feeling was priceless.
“There is nothing that can bring satisfaction to an artiste than to see your work changing people’s way of life, being integrated in people’s lives at different stages.
“I saw the video when someone sent it to me. It made me feel really proud of myself and I hope I keep on touching or having an impact on people’s lives many more years to come.”
Ndinonyara proved to be popular both locally and with Zimbabweans in the diaspora and was on demand on all of his shows.
Nox currently has a new song, Zvandadiwa which is topping the charts.
“The song has a video now and it’s slowly gaining popularity. I’m just going to give it time and see how much of an impact it will have on people.
“ It’s the first single taken off my forthcoming album called Africa’s Best which will be released later this year.”
