HARARE - Dynamos will be aiming to continue with their mini revival when they host Triangle at National Sports Stadium in this afternoon.

The defending champions have blown hot and cold this season and are currently sitting on fifth position on the Castle Premiership log standings with 16 points.

DeMbare have picked up two straight wins in their last encounters against FC Platinum and Chiredzi FC.

Those two victories came after DeMbare had gone for three games without winning after going down to Buffaloes and Chapungu before drawing with Shabanie Mine.

“We need to continue our fine form which saw us winning our previous two matches,” Dynamos team manager Richard Chihoro told the Daily News on Sunday yesterday.

“The league competition is a marathon but as for us we just need to concentrate on our games and also we need also to avoid complacency when we are facing the so called small teams.

"We just want to have a good performance and make sure that our fans will be happy.  The good part is we are not under pressure going into this match and we will just need to play our normal game.”

Chihoro is well aware of the challenge posed by Triangle who is coming from a 4-0 loss to FC Platinum in their last league match.

“There are no small teams in the premiership. We have to treat all teams with equal respect. Triangle is a good team hence there’s no point in us underrating them,” he said.

"We have got to keep the momentum going. It’s important to take each game as it comes we have.”

The Glamour boys will be without their midfielder enforcer Stephen Alimenda, who misses the match through suspension.

Alimenda has been a key figure in Calisto Pasuwa’s side this season and will be solely missed today.

Although they have been able to pick up maximum points in their last two matches, DeMbare’s shortcomings upfront have been glaring this season.

The Glamour Boys won their last two matches with identical 1-0 score lines as their strikers have been found wanting in front of goal.

In the win over FC Platinum, the Harare giants had full back Ocean Mushure to thank after the defender scored a last minute penalty to secure the win.

Striker Patrick Khumbula was on target in the win over Chiredzi.

Their opponents today, Triangle are currently experiencing a lot of mixed emotions in their second season in the top flight.

Biggie Zuze’s charges occupy the last relegation slot on the log with only eight points from their nine games.

The sugar cane farmers need to start picking up points or else they will be in danger of going down at the end of the season.

Today: Highlanders v FC Platinum (Barbourfields, SS), Dynamos v Triangle (NSS), Shabanie Mine v Chicken Inn (Maglas)
