HARARE - Dynamos coach Callisto Pasuwa has defended his team’s tactics following an uninspiring performance against Triangle on Sunday.
The Glamour Boys were at times booed by their own supporters who were not impressed by their team’s performance.
DeMbare’s form has been below par this year and the whole team has struggled for form save for some few individuals like Ronald Chitiyo and Stephen Alimenda.
On Sunday, Tichaona Mabvura scored the only goal of the match on a day when DeMbare strikers Patrick Khumbula and Simba Sithole were huge disappointments in front of goal.
While at times prove lively with some individual performances DeMbare they lack quality in key phases of the match especially in the final third.
“We have won and its okay with us, we will see at the end of the season which team will lift the championship. There is no problem with our performance. The fact that we are winning is okay with us,” Pasuwa said.
The defending champions have blown hot and cold this season picking up identical 1-0 wins in three consecutive games against FC Platinum and Chiredzi FC and Triangle at the weekend.
Those three victories came after the Glamour Boys had gone for three games without winning after going down to Buffaloes and Chapungu before drawing with Shabanie Mine.
With the win over Triangle, DeMbare moved into third place on the log and are now tied on 19 points with second-placed Hwange who boast of a superior goal difference.
Undefeated Bulawayo giants Highlanders lead the log standings with 20 points after 10 games.
In other matches, Highlanders remained on top of the log standings despite being held to a one-all draw by FC Platinum.
Bosso had to come back from behind after Charles Sibanda cancelled out a Donald Ngoma first half strike.

How Mine and Harare City also played out to a goalless draw on Saturday while Chiredzi FC and Hwange also shared the spoils following a 1-1 draw.
