HARARE - Zimbabwe international striker Tendai Ndoro says he is happy at South African Absa Premiership side Mpumalanga Black Aces.
Ndoro has been the subject of a lot of speculation linking him with a move away from Aces.
The former Chicken Inn striker became an instant hit in the Super Diski after netting seven goals for AmaZiyoni when he arrived in January.
This has attracted the interest of South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates, who are reportedly working hard behind the scenes to land the signature of the Zimbabwean.
There are also reports that Ndoro, will be heading to England next month for trials with English Premiership side Crystal Palace.
Ndoro, however, took to his Facebook page yesterday to address all these rumours that have linked him with a move away from the Mpumalanga-based club.
“Rumours have been said about my next move but I am glad and happy to say am not moving to any team and I am very happy at Black Aces and am looking forward for a new season,” wrote Ndoro.
Ndoro’s public proclamation also comes at a time when his club also made it know that they will not be letting go of their most prized asset easily.
“The club wishes to put it on record that all the transfer rumours linking Ndoro with an Aces’ exit are premature and unfounded and should be treated as mere gossip,” read the statement published on the Aces website.
“Although we can confirm there has been an interest for the player locally, without revealing any names, Ndoro will be staying put with AmaZiyoni.”
Ndoro will be joined by fellow Zimbabwean Peter “Rio” Moyo at Aces for next season after the midfielder signed with the club earlier this month.
Moyo, who was on the books of Bulawayo giants Highlanders, impressed the Aces scouts when he turned out for Zimbabwe during the Africa Nations Championships (Chan) tournament held in South Africa earlier this year.
