HARARE - Mike “MicInity” Madamombe says tomorrow night’s concert at Dandaro Inn will be a perfect stage to justify his credentials as the country’s leading reggae artiste.

MicInity, who walked away with the Best Reggae Artiste of the Year Award at the 2013 Zim Dancehall Awards, is delighted at the opportunity to make a maiden appearance at the popular Dandaro Inn based in the Harare Showgrounds.

“I am always excited whenever I am presented with an opportunity to link up with my passionate fans. I am even more ecstatic because tomorrow night will be my first show at Dandaro Inn which is slowly becoming one of Harare’s hottest entertainment venues,”said the Marondera-born crooner.

The Freedom Singer, who recently embarked on a nationwide tour that has already taken him to Masvingo and Mutare, has promised an explosive night of “passionate music.

“It will be a memorable night indeed at Dandaro. The night will be a great concert. I am very confident that the show will be a huge success. My fans should expect nothing but the
best including “old school’ lovers’ rock reggae and dancehall covers,” he said.

MicInity’s spokesperson Stuts Angie, told the Daily News yesterday that the Marondera-born artiste was determined to bring back lustre into his music career after a difficult patch in his life.

“Tomorrow night will witness an energised MicInity. The Dandaro Show is coming in the midst of a nationwide tour we began recently,” Angie  said.

The reggae star recently resumed his popular “Weddy Weddy Wednesday” sessions now dubbed “Rub-A-Dub Wednesdays”.

The popular midweek concert, formerly hosted by the Book Café, is now being held at Misty’s Bar in Newlands, Harare.
