HARARE - Towering singer Jah Prayzah will today bring his band of “soldiers” to Harare’s Airport Lounge while Zora star Leonard Zhakata dates Harare’s Globetrotter.
Jah Prayzah, who was busy during the Heroes’ Day and Defence Forces’ Day holidays entertaining audiences with his music and captivating dances, is among the top performing musicians in the country at the moment.
He is among a few music acts still drawing capacity crowds regardless of the biting economy that has seen several bands struggling to attract audiences.
A spokesperson for Airport Lounge said their patrons had requested that Jah Prayzah grace their joint as he is a crowd favourite there. “Jah is known to cater for a wide and interesting mix of audiences, hence the young and old will have something to cheer about. His music is sweet and cuts across all ages.
“Our venue has the best facilities to hold a showcase of this nature and with the space we have, it is ball set.”
Zhakata, an all season singer will bring his Zora music genre to the forgotten Globetrotter nightclub which has reopened with audiences responding positively to this outdoor facility.
The diminutive singer has enough hits under his belt and charisma to pull a cracker of a performance tonight before he performs at Mega 1 Bar tomorrow.
