HARARE - Popular comedian Norman Chiranga is set to release another comedy titled Landlord neMaroja Zvaazvinhu today.
The new comedy is a sequel to Tsoro Mbiri which generated a huge following on ZBC-TV.
Chiranga, a master of suspense and a talented comedian, acts as Chirebvu, a pompous and womanising landlord with a penchant for expensive tastes and women. Chirebvu always runs into trouble in a hilarious manner
The new comedy also features Zebron Thembo known in drama circles as Officer Shinda but who this time acts as the notorious Schoolboy as well as Portia Nota who is popularly known among her adoring fans as Mafuta. Portia plays the role of an innocent-looking cook.
The visibly shy Mafuta ably plays the role of a “green” village girl working for the demanding Chirebvu.
Portia in cahoots with the hilarious Zebron performs numerous pranks at the expense of Chedu, Landlord’s elder brother causing constant friction between the two brothers.
Portia believes her performance in Landlord neMaroja Zvaazvinhu is her best to date.
“You can expect moto mukitchen chaimo. I am back with a bang together with Schoolboy (popular as Shinda) as we will be cooking for Landlord and his newly-found brother Chedu.”
Chiranga and the rest of the cast are grateful to their producer Tichaona Pawakwenyewa of Anointed Communication for the sterling work he has done in producing quality productions.
