HARARE - Big Brother Africa (BBA), the continent’s biggest reality show, will unveil three housemates daily on their website from today.
Liz Dziva, publicity and public relations manager for MultiChoice, said in a statement yesterday that BBA fans will no longer have to wait until the launch of the show on October 5 to know the identity of the housemates.
“In a bold and ground-breaking move, M-Net and series producers Endemol SA will be delivering a new world first by unveiling the names of the participating housemates live on the official Big Brother website which launched yesterday at 2pm,” she said.
“Three Big Brother housemates will be introduced on a daily basis. This will be followed by regular
updates on social media, so Zimbabweans can look out for our country representative. We are breaking new ground and the website and social media are perfect platforms to engage with the fans in real-time”, says M-Net Africa regional director Wangi Mba-Uzoukwu.
“The show will go on, and both fans and housemates are in for some riveting television, coupled with all the drama, intrigue and heart-stopping twists that have long become.
According to well-placed sources, Zimbabwe’s representatives are likely to be chosen from a list that includes DJ Butterphly Phunk, Dr Clarence, Jefferson Musererera, Taurai Mandebvu, Hillary Indi, Cynthia Mare, Tawanda Mugodhi (Goridhe) and Thomas “CST” Chizhanje.
