EDITOR — I refer to your lead article of January 5, 2014 in which your paper quotes me extensively as a family representative, commenting on the marriage relationship of Morgan Tsvangirayi.
All of the quotations attributed to me are inaccurate and scandalous.
In the interest of the truth and integrity of your paper, I expect you to publish this objection to your story which does not represent the brief telephone discussion I had with your reporter.
At no point did I mention the names “Macheka” or “Elizabeth” neither do I refer to my elder brother’s wife as ‘Amainini’.
I never referred to my brother as having problems but to the newspaper reports that your reporter had enquired about.
As a family, we are unaware of a separation or divorce.
