HARARE – Mochudi Centre Chiefs' Zimbabwean defender Arnold Chaka says they respect Dynamos ahead of Sunday’s African Champions League preliminary round qualifier.

The two teams meet at the National Sports Stadium and kick-off is at 3pm.

TROOP LEADER: Mochudi Centre Chiefs coach Dragojlo Stanojlovic, right, leads his team out of the Harare International Airport Arrivals terminal on Saturday.

Chaka was speaking at the Harare International Airport after Magosi touched down Saturday afternoon.

“Dynamos are a good team and we have to respect them. They have a wonderful crowd and what we have to do is just play football and the rest will follow,” said Chaka.

The Botswana champions arrived with a delegation of 19 players for the encounter hoping to spring an upset against the Harare giants, who will only be playing their first competitive game of 2014.

With the Zimbabwean league currently on off-season, DeMbare have only played three warm-up matches to fine tune for the game.

For the better part of the year, DeMbare have been preparing without head coach Calisto Pasuwa and seven senior players as they were away with the Zimbabwe national team at the African Nations Championship in South Africa.

Pasuwa and the seven only returned to the country on Monday and began training with the rest of the squad on Wednesday.
