Mushowani in Chegutu Pirates test

HARARE - Wolrd Navi Northern Region Soccer League Division One log leaders Mushowani face a tricky tie against Chegutu Pirates at Pfupajena tomorrow.

The Mashonaland Central-based outfit, who finished last season in third position, is yet to taste a defeat this campaign after five weeks of action and they now enjoy a one point lead over second-placed Flame Lilly.

Mushowani started their campaign on a bright note, with four wins and one draw from five matches.

Last season, Mushowani proved to be a force to reckon in their debut campaign and remain one of the firm favourites to clinch promotion into the Premiership this season.

Chegutu Pirates will be hoping to strike a winning formula after starting their season badly. They have managed to collect three points from a possible 15 after recorded three draws and lost two games from five games.

Second placed Flame Lilly will be aiming to keep pressure on the log leaders when face Blue Swallows at Manyame.

Flame Lilly is one point behind the log leaders; they have managed to win four matches from five games played so far.

League debutants Bindura United will be aiming to continue with their fine run when they clash against Ngezi Platinum at Boabab tomorrow.

Bindura United are currently in third position on the log standing with 12 points, same points with second-placed Flame Lilly but the later boost of superior goal difference.
