HARARE - Zimbabwe yesterday beat Afghanistan by eight wickets at Country Club to draw the two-match unofficial Test series one all.
Playing under the Zimbabwe A banner, the hosts restricted Afghanistan to 169 in the first innings with seamers Cuthbert Musoko and Neville Madziva taking three wickets each.
Zimbabwe then totalled 157 runs as Richie Mutumbani top-scored with 44 runs.
Leg-spinner Natsai Mushangwe then grabbed four points as Afghanistan were bundled out for 99 in their second innings.
The Zimbabweans eased home after in-form veteran batsman Mark Vermeulen top-scored with an undefeated 47.
Opener and skipper Tino Mawoyo recorded 38.
