HARARE - Zimbabwe have dropped one place on the latest Fifa rankings released by the world football governing body yesterday despite beating Mozambique 2-1 in an international friendly early this month.
The Warriors are now ranked 107th in the world and 30th in Africa.
Ivory Coast remained Africa’s top-ranked team on the global rankings on position 17 followed by Ghana on number 23.
There was little movement in the world’s top 10 with world champions Spain maintaining pole position while Germany are number two with South American giants Argentina occupying third place.
The Warriors are currently in camp preparing for the Chan tournament to be hosted by South Africa early next year.
Ian Gorowa’s team is expected to play another friendly encounter against Libya before traveling to Cape Town, where they will be based.
