HARARE - Multichoice yesterday launched a new educational channel to coincide with the beginning of the new school term.
Channel ED that airs on slot 318 on Dstv, gives all MultiChoice subscribers access to an exciting knowledge portal of both global high-end documentaries and new locally-produced content.
The channel will focus on a broad range of subjects including physics, finance, culture, chemistry, the natural and the supernatural.
It will broadcast six hours of new content every week day, including documentaries, short form material and presenter-driven programmes.
Channel ED links viewers to some of the world’s leading minds in an interactive, vibrant arena of innovations and discovery.
“MultiChoice is committed to equip learners and communities with the best educational information to ensure that our audience gain information in a fun and exciting manner.
“Channel ED’s broad content is aimed at ages 15 to 49 and is yet another demonstration of our commitment to bringing families together through the ultimate family viewing experience,” says MultiChoice Zimbabwe public relations and publicity manager Liz Dziva.
