HARARE - South African star Ringo Madlingozi, Oliver Mtukudzi, Jah Prayzah and Wallace” Winky D” Chirumiko will clash tonight at Andy Miller Hall, Harare Exhibition Park, in easily the biggest gig in Zimbabwe this weekend.
The Thank You Zimbabwe concert is expected to attract thousands of revellers.
Chakari Stadium
GOSPEL musician Abraham Matuka and Zimbabwe for Jesus band will grace a family concert in Chakari tomorrow.
The Vhina Vhina singer will be supported by a number of upcoming artistes who include Sandra Chirenje.
The 33-year-old Mufakose-born gospel artiste recently released his third album Tendai Jesu which is currently creating waves on the market.
Matuka’s performances at church crusades around Africa have made him popular in the Zaoga Church.
“People who attend our crusades know my music and we are now going a gear up by staging other concerts outside the church crusades so as to cater for everyone,” he said.
His previous albums are Tonamata (2005) and Ndovimba Nemi of 2007.
New Life Nite Club
After sharing the stage with Ringo Madlingozi, Jah Prayzah and Wallace “Winky D” Chirumiko tonight, the stage will be set for Oliver Mtukudzi to return to the ghetto of Budiriro where he will perform alongside Peter “Young Igwe” Moyo tomorrow.
Top Three Night Club
Chegutu’s top night club will host Extra Kwazvose tonight after which the sungura band will move to Kadoma tomorrow where they will perform at Rumwe Nite Club.
Extra Mile
Peter Moyo and Utakataka Express will share the stage with the group Extra Kwazvose in a family show set for the popular Harare joint tomorrow.
KwaKule Tau Night Club, Shurugwi
Dendera musician Allan Chimbetu will rock Shurugwi tonight before entertaining fans at Ngenaz Bar in Mberengwa.
On Sunday, the Sonny hit-maker will date Dio Cocktail Bar at Yorks Business Centre in Mberengwa before another show at Vanguard Beer Hall on Monday in the same area.
